Well, in truth, I'm not sure how aware people are of my life. And since my last updated shout out to the universe was back at Christmas, I figured it was probably time for my bi-yearly update.
First and foremost, SaraRules.com recently found a home at a new web hosting company. Since I will admit that occasionally I leap before I look, I transferred the site without checking to see if I had all the files on my computer. Well, I don't. Surprise! So it's possible that some of the links aren't working properly. (Possible? That's a lie, it's absolutely probable and confirmed by independent testers I hired!) So, hopefully in the next few weeks I'll track down all my backups and get the website back to its full glory.
Update number two: I'm graduating! After almost 60 credits of grueling masters marketing, edonomics, and fundraising classes, I am about to have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Arts Administration. I walk in May, but I have an internship/capstone/coursework to finish up over the summer, so I will be official at the end of August. Hooray!
And update number three, which is really just more of an observation. With the graduation ceremony less than two weeks away, I am working frantically, and starting to finish up all my final projects. In truth, I haven't had time to quilt in months, and the only fly fishing I've done lately is day dreaming as some sort of zen escape technique.
Tonight, I decided it was absolutely necessary for me to relax and de-stress a little bit, (loved ones will be nodding their heads aggressively in agreement), so I decided to take a bubble bath. The bubble bath was nice, but my brain would not stop curtly reminding me that I had homework to do. It is so hyper-focused on school, I can't even relax while relaxing! I need a vacation! Fortunately, the vacation countdown is only... wow, about ten days away.
